The album has a very complicated and unusual history of creation, but it has no concern only with technical problems or changes of the line-up of a band inspired by creative works of NOKTURNAL MORTUM and DUB BUK. The most part of YAV’s stuff had been created in 2006 г. Most likely, as it is typical for many beginners, it would remain unreleased. However it was turned out that Finist, the leader of YAV’, promised his beloved to record that stuff formerly. A sudden tragedy took life of this young woman and gave a new meaning to the promise to be redeemed… It made of the album recording a kind of a tribute and a memorial creation. The band’s leader would scarcely surmise that the fulfillment of any promise previously given to a person being in the World Beyond was a ritual in a way. The ritual which was performed not by him only, but also by his brothers-in-arms (including Set’X, an ex-member and one of the band’s founders), as well as the Nornes spinning threads of human fates. These threads led YAV’ to some persons, who were not members of the band, but had an influence upon its coming-to-be: Loochezar, AR, Munruthel.
In 2006 YAV’s members even could not imagine including of their songs to:
- CD-compilation “Узники совести” (“Русь Изначальная”),
- tribute-CD “КОЛОВРАТ над всем миром – 3” (“Знак Судьбы”)
before the CD release date:
- as well as they could not imagine participating of Arius (SVYATOGOR, TRIGLAV) – screaming,
- Ann Merkoulova (NEVERLAND, THUNDERKRAFT, MUNRUTHEL, KOLO, FINIST, TRIGLAV) – flute,
- Munruthel (KOLO, ex-ASTROFAES, ex-NOKTURNAL MORTUM and many others) – sound engineering, mastering, intro
in their debut album recording.
In addition to the band’s stuff CD “Эхом Воли” includes:
- an Intro created by Munruthel especially for this album,
- a cover version of KOLOVRAT’s song «Знак Судьбы»,
- a hidden track with a cover version «Сварги Свет Небес Безмолвных» of a remix «The Skies Are Silent» by AR (feat. Graham A. Gosnell (U.K.) – bass, guitar, drums).
